Part Time MBA Program, Georgetown full price vs. UMD with 18K scholarship

I recently, this morning, just found out that I got into UMD Smith School of Business, and they are offering me a 18K scholarship. I got into Georgetown last week, and I really do not know what program I should choose. With the scholarship, UMD comes out to ~34K less expensive than Georgetown. Does anybody know which program is more highly regarded in the investment community.

I dont plan on leaving the DC area anyitme soon. I know that UMD has a MSF program that can be easily added to the MBA program, but I dont have much knowledge of what people think of those degrees or if they are important.

Do you guys have any advice or info about these two programs?

Personally, I would choose Georgetown. I lived in DC for a few years. The only way you should choose UMD is due to your being strapped for cash. Otherwise, Georgetown would be a better choice for banking in DC or other finance areas.

I think that is my first thought as well. The money wasnt as much a deciding factor as the MSF add on. ~30K over 10 years really isnt that much more per month. I know that you can choose a lot of electives in georgetown, so if I focus on finance I think that should be enough. Did/do you work in banking in DC? If so how did you like it. I know there arent too many firms in the area.
