Planning to study in France for masters. Need guidance.....!!
I'm from India. Currently working in Compliance, want to pursue career in S&T / Advisory.
I want to do masters in finance from France. I don't have budget to go to elite schools like HEC- OUT OF MY LEAGUE.
But I'm really interested in Dauphine PSL 203 - so how hard is to get the admission ?
Also, how is Toulouse School of management, Paris school of business and European Business School ?
Would love hear from you all
Based on the most helpful WSO content, here's what you need to know:
Dauphine PSL: Dauphine is a strong brand in France, particularly for finance-related programs. Its master's programs, especially in financial engineering, are well-regarded. Admission can be competitive, but it's not as intense as HEC or ESSEC. If you have a solid academic background and relevant work experience, you stand a good chance. Dauphine is a good choice for someone on a budget, as it offers quality education at a relatively lower cost compared to elite business schools.
Toulouse School of Management (TSM): TSM is not considered a top-tier school in France. While it might offer decent programs, it doesn't have the same level of prestige or placement opportunities as schools like HEC, ESSEC, or even Dauphine. If you're targeting S&T or advisory roles, it might not be the best fit unless you have a strong network or plan to leverage internships.
Paris School of Business (PSB): PSB is not highly ranked in France. It falls into the category of schools that are generally not recommended unless you have no other options. The placement opportunities and brand recognition are limited, especially for competitive fields like S&T or advisory.
European Business School (EBS): Similar to PSB, EBS is not a top-tier institution in France. It might be okay for regional or less competitive roles, but it won't give you a significant advantage in the job market, especially for high-demand fields like S&T.

Good luck with your applications!
