Post MBA Banking - Bonus Timing
Quick question for all who interned as Summer Associates in banking (during business school) and then signed with the same bank - what year was the signing bonus paid out? I'm asking to figure out cash flow while in school.
For example, if I begin school in 2015, then have an internship in the summer of 2016, and then join full time in the summer of 2017 (post graduation), is the signing bonus paid out in the summer of 2017 or after I (hypothetically) commit full time in 2016?
Thanks for the help.
Depends on bank. Some pay them on acceptance (JPM) others around christmas, but most pay in the spring near your graduation date.
Perfect, thanks for sharing.
Full Time offer (Timeline) (Originally Posted: 04/16/2014)
I am interning at a BB firm this summer and I just have few questions associated with the full time offer:
1.) What are some of the things I can do to make sure I end up getting the offer aside from following directions and being in the office (long hours).
2.) How much is the signing bonus and when do we get them?
3.) How long will I have after graduation before I will start working? Should graduate in the first week of May. I wanted to know if I would have time for vacations? If so, how long etc.
Thank you so much :)
Thank you! Any other perspectives?
which BB has intern program at this point of time? Are you at US?
