Pre-MBA Experience: How is corporate strategy (With some Corporate Development) compared to management Consulting in the eyes of m7?

Graduated last year from a top undergrad and did a management development (Operations-focused) program before pivoting to Corporate Strategy. Company is F500 Media & Telecom and projects include go-to-market strategy, growth-strategy, and working with Corp Dev on synergy strategy for Acquisitions & Divestitures. Sometimes we use MBB to explore fringe opportunities/gather information not available from Equity Research/CapIQ, but most of the work stay in-house. Decent exposure/facetime with C-suite and upper management.

Not 100% sure on long-term goal but it's between entrepreneurship, startup, or private equity investing. Most likely not management consulting after MBA since I don't want to get put in boring industries or do implementation/transformation projects once I get my MBA in my late-20s/early-30s.

As such, should I pivot to get some Management Consulting Pre-MBA experience or is Corporate Strategy viewed as equivalent to MC?
