Realistic chance for M7

Just wanted to drop my quick stats to look at my chances at M7 BSchool, I know there’s a lot more that’s factored into these decisions but for I just want to see where I sit.

GMAT: 730
Undergrad: Top 15-25 private school, business major
Career: Current intern at BB IBD
GPA: 3.78
Refs: a professor I have a great connection with
Race: Indian/South Asian
ECs: student leader at a few cultural clubs, VP at investment club, on-campus research, volunteering

Nah bro, work hard to deteriorate all 3.

Snarky comments aside haha, obviously try to improve every other aspect of your application to cover up for the part that might be lacking. Same goes for every other application for pretty much anything.

 

Very high chance for M7 and I'd say your profile is worth throwing in apps to HSW

 

deferred seems unlikely if youre at a barclays/ubs/baml

apply to get practice for the real thing down the line, at which point youll have a much better chance, esp if you score a decent exit from banking first

 

Should I take the risk and re-recruit for MBB then, although our school isn’t a top target there. Are there other firms I could get in that would improve my chances?
