REPS FOR VARIOUS SCHOOLS
What is the reputations of these following schools on Wall Street:
Franklin and Marshall College
Hobart and William Smith Colleges
Loyola Maryland (sellinger)
My brother is attending the Wharton School at UPenn (hes a junior) so I am not newb to the business world...I just have a preference to small liberal arts colleges than big "Ivy Fever" universities.
Thanks,
J
Well, I'm at Brown and Providence College across the way is only 15-20% smaller than Brown as far as undergraduate population. If you are seriously aiming for Wall Street and like liberal arts colleges, you should pick some non-Wharton Ivies to be honest.
But there is an outstanding, tiny liberal arts college that is very highly regarded in finance, Claremont McKenna. Very good school and very difficult to get into, harder to get into than some Ivies too.

Loyola & Hobart have great (maybe not winning) lacrosse programs. Also Claremont is very legit, my little brother just got in. I drove down from SF to tour it with him, the campus is gorgeous (Pomona's not though). Henry Kravis is a big time alum, its weird because its on the same campus as like 5 or 6 other schools. Everyone's really serious there & looks like they have an awesome leadership program. Girls walking around weren't exactly head turners tho, lot of Asians & hippie chicks. But I feel like thats pretty indicative of small LA schools.
Middlebury, Williams, Amherest, Swarthmore and Claremont Mckenna are all very good if you're aiming for finance. I've met quite a few students from these schools during my interviews.
