Resume Differences: BSchool vs Full Time

So out of curiosity, what are some differences / alterations that people do to their MBA application resume as opposed to if they were doing a full time job application? Do you spell anything out a bit more? Put more of a spin on things? Push the envelope a bit more? Or leave it the same?

Are you trying to sell yourself and impress or try to keep it more modest, relative and exact to your personal being?

CriesI haven't been through it yet, but I believe I would lie/embellish 10x more, due to lack of background checks.

This is dreadful advice - top b-schools all put their admits through a 3rd party background check and you're not truly 'in' until you pass the check. It's just like joining a firm.

kes18's advice is better: change the slant. as b-schools look for slightly different things than employers do.

The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be the shepherd.

I took a totally different approach. Much less finance jargon, more leadership focused, no specific deal info - as least stuff wasn't broken out by deal. Basically more general in nature and shorter. Added an entire section on community involvement. Expanded on undergrad and clubs/positions etc.

For a job you are selling your qualifications for school you are selling yourself as an individual.
