Right MSc program/steps for me?

Hello!

I am unsure of what the best steps to take in my career might be and would like to hear your advice.
I am an engineering student graduating this summer with a year of work experience in a project management role at a top consumer goods company. I am interested in finance, technology and marketing and would like to educate myself further in this areas. As for career goals the kind of jobs/areas I am interested are strategy, management and analyst roles.

I will be going back to the same company in September at a similar position in the Analytics department and have the option to do a part-time master’s at the same time. I have narrowed the options down to:

- EDHEC: MSc in International Business Management
- Alliance Manchester Business School: MSc in Financial Management
- City, University of London (Cass): MSc in Global Finance

I have chosen this options as they are online and part-time, EDHEC’s program could help me in my role and the other two will provide the further education in Finance I am interested in getting. The main concerns I have is an overlapping between EDHEC’s program and an MBA and whether doing the finance programs is the right choice for me given that I am not planning on pursuing similar roles to other students taking the program such as IB/Banking.

I do intend on doing an MBA at a top school after gaining more work experience and I am unsure whether getting a CIM qualification, CFA Level 1/Other finance qualifications instead of doing the master’s and then doing an MBA will serve my purposes better.

Thanks in advance!
