Rising senior in high school - what can i do to break into IB?

Hi WSO! I'm currently a rising senior in high school, applying to colleges this november, and I was wondering what I could do early on to commit to IB.

It may seem a bit early, but because of my AP/DE credits, I'll be starting with 3 semesters worth of credit, meaning i'll graduate in roughly 2.5 years. In addition, i've had many people on this forum mention that it's easier to get into IB earlier - so here's to me hoping I don't get flamed in the comments

I'm currently planning on EDing to NYU Stern - I could probably get into a higher ranked school if I really wanted to, but Stern seems to be the best option considering their IB feeder status and prime location (i'm not getting into harvard/penn lmao).

In addition, I'm also considering UC Berkeley (its like 20 minutes away from where I live), but my 2yr situation will probably result in me ending up in L&S and not Haas - in the case that i'm at a target school, but not in the business school, what can I do to break into IB?

Thank you!

In this case, would it be better to graduate in 3 yrs instead of 2.5? Meaning i'd try and get internships 0.5 year after I enter college (and 2.5 years before I graduate). The reason I wanna graduate early is because many of these feeder schools are very expensive lmao.

Go to Stern for 4 years. Do internships.

Idk what state you are in but if you end up not getting into your top choice you could go to a state school that will take your  credits so technically you can graduate in 3 years. Then what you can do is recruit freshman year as a "sophomore" to some of the lower BB/MM. Then extend your graduation and then rerecruit for better banks or even buyside.

But this means you're gonna have to be pretty ready coming into freshman year, but I think you'll be able to enjoy your 4 years more since you wouldn't have to stress too much for recruiting after your freshman "sophomore" year
