RSM v. HEC Lausanne for iBanking

Which is better for an undergrad? I want to break into IB, and perhaps get an MSc, since i want to go to London so i would be looking at LSE, HEC Paris, Esade, etc. Will either RSM or HEC Lausanne be able to get me to a good MSc like the ones listed? I speak english, french, spanish fluently.

I would not recommend it. While a few students from cologne do go on to great schools (LBS/LSE etc.) I would not recommend it for anyone who is not german. And even for germans I would still be cautious. The program is taught mostly in german. So you do have to be a very!!! fluent speaker in german and it is really competitive. The average degree grade is a 2,7 out of 4.0 and to be considered for the high end masters you have to probably get around a 1,5(top 5%). To at least be able to apply for masters in the Uk you need to hit 2.2 (top 15-20%).

Aside from all that (and other factors that make cologne (and every german public) a no go for non-germans) the city of cologne is pretty trendy and cool. It is not beautiful at all but has a lot of students and a vibrant night life only beaten by Berlin (Where some clubs open up at 8-10am for after hour). I would not be to down on RSM. Although rotterdam is a harborgh/manufacturing/not sexy city, I still think the university and quality of life (since you spend most time at the university) will be better..

If money does not matter at all, I would go ahead and look at Schools in the UK/London, maybe bocconi in italy or esade in spain. I feel that germany does not have great opportunities for non-germans, so I would only consider it if you are very tight on money (it is free after all, which explains some of the issues and shortcomings).

If you have any further questions about cologne or anything else, feel free to pm me.
