Should I get a MSF after undergrad or take a gap year? I have a disadvantageous undergrad background and no internship experience.
I am graduating from an undergrad school that's ranked ~200th place as an econ major. I was a major in a humanities discipline before and am taking a 5th year to do an economics degree. I have no internship experience, and I am 24 years old. I would like to be a financial analyst. I am currently taking Calc I but don't know how to program.
I was advised to take a gap year to have a better application and work before applying to a MSF, but I am concerned that I will not find a job because of my limited knowledge and no relevant internship experience. I am just suspecting that the gap year would be a waste.
Should I take a gap year or apply to a MSF for next fall?
