SIE, 79, 63 - What Happens if You Fail?

Just wondering what failing any combination of SIE, 79, 63 would prevent a full-time hire from being able to work as an analyst. Which exams can you "get away" with failing and still be able to work in full capacity, if any? Which exams if you fail are you absolutely not allowed to work in full capacity or at all yet?

Also, are firms notified of scores? Are training providers like Knopman notified?

When I did banking you were officially given two tries on the exams before they kick you out. But if you failed either one (it was only 63 and 79 at the time), everyone knew because you would not have been able to have been staffed on anything, and you would be branded a big dumb idiot by the entire group until such time as you proved you were not.

Also, FINRA Brokercheck pretty much real-time updates when you pass exams these days and shows the date. Analyst classes all take these on the same date. If your pass date is different from your peers (and people DO check), everyone is going to know.
