Sophomore Transfer GPA?
Suppose I get a near-4.0 at a shitty state school and transfer out to a target T20 like Vandy or Cornell - will that shiny 4.0 be seen by IB recruiting and counted into a CGPA, or do I factory reset to a 0.0 and have to regain that juicy 3.7 from scratch while avoiding grade deflation? Thanks!
On your resume you usually list both schools separately and thus the different GPAs. This is one of the risks of transferring but just take all the easiest classes your first semester and you'll be fine if you do transfer
