Straight to Fordham or wait for Cornell?

I'm in a dilemma WSO and I need an alternative perspective from what I'm being told. I'm looking to land a S&T position at a BB.

Currently im at Community College and will be doing 1-2 more semesters depending on where i want to transfer to. I'm being told that doing 2 more semesters then attempt to transfer into Cornell for AEM or apply to CAS Economics as a Sophomore ( technically as a junior but considering most credits wont account to the degree, or another target, most only accept fall admissions) is a terrible idea considering i will only have two summers worth of internships to be able to be done and its a low chances of getting accepted.

On the other hand I can do 1 more semester and then transfer to Fordham (I know i will 100% get in) and be able to hit the ground running and be able to do 4+ internships by the time i graduate(I understand its a semi/non-target?) considering i maintain amazing grades and extracurriculars to get said potential internships , or do my spring semester 2019 there, then try to apply to Cornell/ target school? ( if i get denied to most top tiers i will just stay at Fordham)

My Stats: GPA: 3.85 Extras: -Student Government E board ( last five members that held my position all got into Cornell but i think for ILR considering the advisers "have connections") - Board member on the Board of Trustees for my school (position held through SG) - Former-President of Business Club ( cant hold any position since im now on SG) - Co-Founder of an Investment Club - Track & field/ Cross Country (joined last semester)

tl;dr Community college student wants to know should i try to transfer to Dyson in 1 more year with low acceptance rate and only two summers worth of internships or go to Fordham to be able to do year round internships/network by the time i graduate saving 1 year of time at that could be considered wasted at CC
