Thoughts on applying to MBA with 2 years of experience

Hi good people of WSO
I'm currently contemplating on applying to MBA (Round 2/3) or Masters in Finance/Financial Engineering with two years of experience under my belt. Graduated from a top 30 uni and currently working at a reputable firm but not an investment role. Purpose of MBA/Masters would be to move into a more technical/analytical role like research/investments. Do you think two years of experience would not be enough? Would appreciate any advice and thoughts!
