Terrible Job Experience - Quit After 1 Year Mark?

So around 8 months ago I lateraled from a boutique shop to a top 3 BB in their S&T department. I had 5-7 YOE in a related industry but not exactly on this job that I got. However, after several great interviews I got hired. I obviously assumed that I would be trained (or at least guided a bit for some time).

Long story short, my experience in this job has been tremendously bad. I found out that several other employees before me have left at the year mark (1.5y tops) and I understand why

My boss is one of the worst managers i’ve ever encountered (i’ve been a manager myself). She screams/raises her tone at any small mistake, while absolutely zero training was provided. Even scarier, she wants us to take considerable risks (executing trades for example) without training us well. She micromanages and corrects any minimal thing that she doesn’t like, creating a paranoia atmosphere where all my colleagues are literally scared of sending emails or saying something ‘wrong’. Furthermore, they painted the job as one thing and it actually is very different from what i was told, though I don’t dislike it per se.

Even after all this terrible experience that has left me psychologically wounded, my reviews have been great. I simply don’t know if I’ll be able to endure this much longer, even though i’m at a great place where i can grow.

I don’t know what to do, and also don’t know if quitting at the 1 year mark will hurt me too much.

What are your thoughts?
