Transfer B or retake and get an A
Took two summer courses, both related to my major, and got a B and B- .
I can transfer these courses or retake them and get an A. Transferring them will not affect my GPA, I will only receive credits toward graduation, however the letter grade will still be listed on my transcript.
Will having two Bs related to my major affect Bschool? If I don't get an offer out of undergrad, will it affect my Mfin admissions?
FYI I am at a nontarget with 3.7 gpa in a hard science.
If you apply to bschool, I think you have to disclose all your transcripts. Won't bschool apps see the B and B- anyway even if you retook?
Do not retake. I would use that extra time to study for the GRE/GMAT.
Also, "Hard Science" is a stupid term. Just say your major, nobody cares.
yea..wtf is a hard science anyway? all science majors are difficult.
Not true. Biology, Psych, Anthropology, Env Science, etc. are not difficult majors. Hard sciences are Math, Physics, Chem, Econ, Computer Science. The first ones I listed are generally called "soft sciences" and are recognized as such by B-schools, law schools, and most employers.
Right, because Econ is so much harder than Biology...
