UK Finance MSc Ranking

Hey guys, how would you rank these universities for a Finance MSc?
- Warwick (I know it's the best but it costs like £30,000 for EU students)
- Manchester
- Bath
- Birmingham
- Queen Mary

I don't have a bachelor in economics or finance so I think I have bigger chances to get into one of these universities with my degree. All the MSc apart from Warwick cost around £25,000 and it would be better for me considering I will need to take a loan as an International student.

is there a big gap between Warwick / Manchester and bath? I mean, is the £5000 difference worth it or not? And don't you think QM is better than Birmingham because of the fact that the uni is located in London?

I would say there's a pretty big gap between them, the £5000 would be worth it in my opinion.

I don't think proximity to London plays a massive role but I would say Birmingham has a better reputation.

FYI, you don't need an undergraduate degree in Economics or Finance to get into the top MSc Finance courses. If you have a good GMAT score that's 650-700+ I would definitely try applying for LBS / LSE / Imperial etc.

If you don't want to spend the money on Warwick, I would go to Bath. It's growing it's relationships within the city from year to year, and you can see more and more people getting into top BB and EB for SA or even placement year (for EB's). Also, it's a great place to spend a year (as compared to the other options), but not sure if you care about that. Another option in the region is Bristol, as it has one of the largest pool of alumni, as it has been a strong brand outside of Oxbridge/London forever and as with Bath all the banks go down there for career fairs/presentations. If you have any more questions feel free to PM me, as I've done my fair amount of research on semi/non-target unis in the UK. Good luck!
