UK University Reputation in US

I am a university student pursuing math at one of the London targets (Imp/LSE/UCL), and I am quite interested in applying for a masters in finance program in the US. I am mainly thinking about doing this as my family is moving to the US, and I want to be closer to them. An alternative to this would be to start working in London and hopefully lateral to one of the US offices 1-2 years in the future. But I am quite worried that moving to the US after attending a UK uni would adversely affect my career opportunities down the line. The main reason I am considering a masters is for the rebrand. Ik that Oxbridge is well respected regardless of the region but do other targets also have a similar level of recognition in the US? If anyone went to a UK uni and is currently working in the US any advice would be greatly appreciated.

banks and funds don't hire as much from MFins in the US as they do in the UK. Pretty sure only like 2 programs get attention and even then...

Laterally internally might have some visa issues as a lot of them are just temp rotations and won't let you recruit for buyside.

This is assuming you don't have US citizenship though
