I did my undergrad at UMiami and had an amazing experience. It is not a target school though. There are a handful of people that make it into IB or Asset Management, but it's not a walk in the park. The school though is amazing, and I loved going there. 

For me to get into IB I worked for a private firm in Miami for a year then lateraled to group at a bank that covered a similar sector, then got my MBA and am now an associate. 

If you choose UMiami enjoy it as much as you can, but make sure you stay focused. It is very easy to get distracted. Don't let your grades slip. Choose friends who share goals and values.
