Undergrad UNC KF vs. UMICH Ross vs. UC Berkeley

I'm a very lost high school senior, who has luckily been admitted into a couple great schools which I've narrowed down to the three in the title. I'm in state at UNC and received a full tuition scholarship and direct admission into the business school, I've also been admitted into the Ross school of Business at Michigan but with no aid, and finally I was admitted into UC Berkeley but they have no guarantee of admission into Haas and no aid. Any advice whether it's what school you'd pick or how I can maximize the opportunities at each school would be appreciated!

Guaranteed admission into KF and full tuition scholly - take it and run. These schools are more similar than different. All excellent. KF places well in banking and consulting (and all the traditional business paths). It's also an awesome and beautiful place in an exciting part of the country. ACC sports is pretty cool too. Franklin Street makes for one of the best college towns in the country. You'll be saving 200k+ and still attending a top notch school. Congrats!

Awesome thank you! Does Ross have a significantly larger recruiting advantage or is that largely marginal?

The rankings would have you believe Ross and Berkley are stronger and that may be true, but all are great and place quite well. More important than rankings, look at Linkedin and search the alumni tab to see where they place. Look up specific companies, roles, industries, locations, etc. Lot of useful information there. KF has plenty of alums in NYC, Charlotte and other banking locals. You can do really well there. Get good grades, Get involved. Be a leader. And enjoy your four yrs. Don't be overly consumed with outcomes from day one. Figure out what you need to do and do it.

Is this Morehead-Cain? While I'd say UC Berkeley and Michigan Ross are a bit better than UNC KF, that's a really awesome deal. Not an easy feat to land a full tuition scholarship to a school of UNC's caliber. Would also recommend taking that. I matriculated at a school that was "ranked" slightly lower than a couple of other schools that I was admitted to but I saved $80k to $90k over four years in the process and realistically ended up in a similar spot than I would have at the other two schools (if not better). Congrats!

Got it, still great regardless. I went to Cornell (Dyson). I chose it over another Ivy (Dartmouth) as well an Ivy Plus (think Duke / Chicago).

I worked in M&A and then moved over to a well-established private equity firm (not quite Blackstone or Apollo) after 2-3 years. I am pretty thankful to be in the spot that I am in today.
