URGENT MIAMI OHIO VS BARUCH

Hello all! I've been recently accepted to both CUNY Baruch and Miami Ohio. To keep things simple, I want to enter the world of investment banking, and work on wall street. Would a Baruch education compare to that of one in Miami? I have no idea as to whether I should go out to Ohio and attempt to make it on wall street or not.

Thanks.

I'd say Baruch. If you're "top" student you can make opportunities for your self. Being in NYC, you have the chance to network with alumni and others in the industry. I think that's a huge plus. You can literally meet with a banker every week if you get them to respond. I go to school in the city also and usually reserve Friday afternoons to head downtown for coffee chats w/ the intention of getting a resume push. If your in the middle of no where Ohio (which Miami Ohio is literally in the middle of Omish land Ohio) you won't be able to do that. They say it's a public ivy but idk if they're alumni network or OCR is good enough. You could always do a LinkedIn search to see alumni of both schools as well. But being in NYC is a pretty good plus. Regardless be ready to work your ass off at either school.
