Vanderbilt vs NYU (Undergrad)

Hello WSO,

I have recently been accepted to both Vanderbilt (HOD major under Peabody) and NYU (IR major under CAS, will declare an Econ major and get a business minor at Stern if going there) as a rising-sophomore transfer student from a non-target private T35. I have also been waitlisted by UVA, and is still waiting for my USC Marshall and ND Mendoza decisions, however the deadline for me to commit for both Vandy and NYU are approaching, so I'm needing some advice here. I am an international student from Canada and is looking to work in the US after grad (regardless of what region, though preferably NY and the East Coast). I am also open for opportunities in APAC (HK and SG are both really appealing options, I have lived in Greater China for 10 years and speak fluent Mandarin). I am hoping to break into IB/Consulting, though leaning towards consulting at the moment.

Any advice would be appreciated, thank you!
