Villanova worth it over UConn for IB?

Hi, I recently got admitted to the Villanova School of Business, and as of right now I believe I will be paying full cost. I currently am committed to go to UConn for finance, where it will cost me around 40k/yr. Nova is around 80k/yr, and I am getting around 25k/yr from my parents. I plan on pursuing Investment Banking or Private equity out of undergrad, and maybe a quant career. Would paying the extra 40k/yr be worth it for Villanova? Thank you. This is for undergrad btw.

Villanova ain't worth paying 80k a year, if you're basing your decision off future career perspectives.

If you're smart and hardworking, you'll either: make it from UConn, or be able to transfer to a target. If not, Villanova doesn't have enough of a rep to make a difference anyways.

Villanova is a good school but nearly $200k in loans is going to follow you for a while... I would only take out that much for a top target. Definitely petition your financial aid and see if they will give you any more.

Barring major aid changes I would do UConn and try to transfer quickly, or just grind hard from UConn.. UConn -> IB has been done

I am a recent UConn graduate working at BB and can confirm multiple people have full-time jobs at BB/EB or will have internships in IB this coming summer. The b-school is focusing on placing more and more students at banks. The IB society has lots of alumni that help students and if you are able to get into Hillside Ventures and the Student Managed Fund you will have no problem getting into the industry.
