Wesleyan
Apples and oranges. Wes has a better academic reputation but a lot of people would hate the small student population and general lack of school spirit in comparison to PSU. Pick the type of school where you'd be happiest.
I'd be happier at whichever school gives me a better opportunity to break into banking. Is that Wesleyan because of its reputation? Also, I'm having a very hard time trying to find any alumni from Wesleyan in Investment Banking. As far as Penn State is concerned I've found quite a few that work at BB's and top Boutiques. Why is this?
i'm all for the go-getter attitude, but considering you're, what, 18? maybe take the aforementioned advice and go to the place where you'd be happiest based on the culture. you may not even wanna do banking, or finance, in 2,3, or 4 years. i don't mean to sound patronizing, but if someone had told me i was gonna be in finance when i was a junior or senior in high school i would have laughed at them. and between then and when i started doing finance internships in college, i think i cycled through like 3 or 4 different career choices. but that might have just been me.
also, there are people in banking from both schools, so you'll be fine either way.

Thanks and while I know that what you're saying is true, I definitely want to go into Investment banking, no two ways about it. I've already done two finance-related internships and I'm not even in college yet. & I get along with people pretty well, I'll learn to enjoy myself wherever I go. I just need to know which gives the best chance of breaking into ibd
I'm actually leaning more towards penn state because of the larger alumni network on wall street. I just want to know what people that know more than I do think
