What if the job market still sucks after Master?
Hi guys. I am about to start my master's degree in Finance in Germany and I wonder what to do if the job market in Frankfurt does not recover in 2022 or gets worse due to the economic depression coming our way. Should I do a pHD if that happens?

Am in the same spot as you, brother, and I guess I will just take up the next shmuck job that comes my way, be it DAX CorpFin or some financial stuff like commercial banking (shudder). Bro, I´ll be honest with you, there´s only one uni worth its money in Frankfurt, and it´s not FS (it´s Goethe, shitty but free). WHU can ask those prices, sure, but even fucking HSG barely costs like 12k. So I really hope you know what you´re doing broski.
Well, the way I see it, Bruder, in extremis I either get any "decent" finance job and prepare for an MBA in 5 years, or try to do a pHD afterwards. We'll just have to see what 2022 will bring.
Übrigens, Bruder, if you don't mind me asking: Do you know which German universities have good pHD in Finance or Economics?
