which B school is most fun?

Chicago, MIT, and Wharton are the most fun
Ha.
I'm sure they're all fun but would tend to think Chicago falls far down the list. It's like being in college all over again though.
From talking to people at the various top schools, this is the general impression i got about their social lives.
The most fun top b-schools:
Kellogg: Students here absolutely rave about their experience. Most of them live in evanston, and the class is super tight. They are definitely a work hard and play hard bunch. Probably the most attractive girls among the top b-schools (by MBA standards of course).
Columbia: It's in NYC. enough said. And among the professional schools in the city, they're probably the most well-rounded. Columbia and NYU Law kids are probably smarter but not as cool and attractive as the b-school folks.
Harvard: Arguably the best 2 years of your life. Tons of travelling, long winter break, get to become friends with some of the smartest and most accomplished people out there.
NYU: No campus, but you're in the village. They definitely go out a lot
Wharton: This one surprised me. Philly sucks, but since very few students are native philadelphians, the class is extremely cohesive. Pretty nice people, very accomplished group.
Certainly not IMD.
I love the Village, my favorite place in the city. EV for some cheap dive bars and eats, EASY girls, and a cool artistic and vibrant atmosphere. West Village is very charming, and a bit pricier than its noisy neighbor.
err lets make it more specific - h vs s for fun? ok other schools welcome (except for kellogg) but mostly interested in those two
i feel like columbia/nyu wouldnt have enough of a campus environment being in nyc. i'm looking at school as an opportunity to escape the real world
chicago i already know would blow, been there. wharton im thinking the crowd would be too old and too serious. i dun give a shiet if they're 'accomplished'
hbs looks fun but it gets cold. stanford i have the same concerns as wharton
Wharton is a bit older than harvard and stanford, but the crowd is pretty laid back. Not as serious as people think it is. A lot of this reputation is due to wharton undergrad, which is insanely cutthroat. Everyone I've talked to said they were surprised at how easygoing the wharton people were.
It is true that columbia and NYU are commuter schools. A lot of the students there lived in the city before starting school so have their own social circles as a result. It's still fun but not as cohesive as some of the other programs.
HBS is a blast. It's arguably the best 2 years of your life and a truly transformational experience. If you can get in there, you must go.
Columbia has a decent sized campus. I visited it. If you hop on the train for 5 minutes you can be in the west 70s hopping a pretty good string of bars. NYU in the villiage has location beat--I would still take CBS over NYU though, despite recent rankings.
I'm personally not a big fan of the bars in the west 70's. But yes, the red line will take you to downtown pretty quickly.
H would probably more fun as far as your definition of fun is concerned (not a judgment, just based on your posts) - H has an incredibly cohesive student body, lots of ECs, trips, etc - essentially the campus is the thing to do there, so its not like NY where you'd just leave and do your own thing with your NYC friends (if you wanted to) and H puts a bigger focus the experience than cramming away for the grades. If you think you'll enjoy the students there (in my experience, most have been pretty cool, but I definitely don't know anywhere near all of them), you'll be in good shape.
