Which school should I apply to?

I'm an Indian male with a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (mentioning this since it is the most common group). I have a low GPA : 2.49 (class avg 2.4; gold medalist : 3.25). My GMAT score is very bad : 640 (Q42,V37). For reference, I used to get a score in the range of 700-740 in the official GMAT mocks. I had a talk with an admission's committee executive of Rice University who said that if I clear the first level of the CFA exam, some schools won't even consider my GMAT score since there are very less engineers who apply with even one level cleared, hence I'm studying for the level 1 exam. I have my own sub brokerage firm and I've been active in the Indian stock market since I was 16 y/o and have always wanted to work at an IB (in M&A). Have interned twice at Deloitte (M&A). Currently working at a strategic advisory firm where I'll be completing 2 years in 2022 and would be looking to join an MBA program. I went through the entire feed of WSO B-Schools and got damn demotivated and I've given up hope that I'll ever be able to get into a good IB. However, can anyone please recommend me certain schools I should apply to which have a good alumni network working at I-Banks and Schools where one can expect recruitment from I-Banks (even if they aren't bulge bracket). Thanks! :)
