Unlike Greg Smith who left after 12 years, OP chose to leave after 5 years. So OP will complete is degree with Honor at INSEAD and he will make MD/COO for a booming Russian firm within 7 years. He will get offer from GS, CS, Citi "who" will beg them to expand their business in Mother Russia.
Let's say that the OP isn't like you. He knows his value and he doesn't feel insecure about his experience as a MO guy.

As a matter of fact, I should have done like every one else and ignore your first cry for attention.It takes a certain presence of mind to not respond to assumptions, stereotypes and unwarranted judgments. Know which battles to fight and who to fight them with. Otherwise, rise above and keep it moving!
I realize that you are a troll who will likely never work in the industry, but there is no shame in starting in the back office. I started my career as a temp assigned to physically file trade tickets, probably a role that is behind the back office, next to the dumpsters. I worked hard and moved up the food chain at that firm before later jumping over to investment banking at another BB. Several of the BO/MO guys that I worked with have gone on to become incredibly successful in front office roles. I have been in IB for nearly 10 years now, and I have no regrets that I started out where I did.

And I personally find the CFA a useless time waster.
in SLC I made a lot just because the cost of living there is non existent. Here in NY though was a lot tougher to save after all the restaurants, bar/clubs, and everything else that comes with living in the city.
I don't mind the CFA too much, passing the level 1 really did help me move to my role in NY. And if I pass the level 2, I have a much better chance of gettting out of some core classes in my MBA so I can better concentrate on some of the electives that I want to take.
