2nd Year S&T Associate looking to lateral into IB
Currently a 2nd year associate in NY in S&T and looking into lateral into IB as an an1, have realized that S&T is not for me long term. 25 y/o and want to avoid going to business school to get into IB if possible. Realize its tough in the current market, is it possible for me to make the move?

Wondering why would you go back to being an Analyst if you are already an associate? Can’t you lateral internally? I’ve seen it happen a few times.
Have given the internal move a try hasn’t worked out. Have come to the realization I can’t imagine myself in the industry as a director or MD
