Advice on getting return offer for S&T

Hey, guys. I am an incoming S&T summer analyst at UBS London. I wish to get a return offer for my summer internship. I am wondering what are the ways to improve my chance of getting a return offer? I have read on other posts about adding values to the desk. However, what are some of the specific ways you can add value? If you were a trader, what would you like see me doing? Thanks!

I have a friend that got a return offer and has been FT for about a year. From what I gathered, the important thing is to pay very close attention to detail to even the most menial tasks and be involved in every event (including grabbing drinks) they may have. Aside from that, just be engaged and ask good questions when shadowing people. You probably could get that from other threads, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to reiterate.

There was this one time he mentioned where his MD needed something done overnight due to something international and my friend volunteered for it. Probably helped.

JUST DO IT. Don't let your memes be dreams.

I used to do Asia-Pacific PE (kind of like FoF). Now I do something else but happy to try and answer questions on that stuff.
