Argument with friend...

My friend and I were arguing about the difference in GPAs. He said that if two candidates were pretty much the same except one had a 3.9 and the other had a 4.0, the 4.0 would always get the job over the 3.9 even if the 3.9 was more interesting and appealing to the interviewer. I completely disagreed - I think that at that level, the difference in GPA is negligible and fit takes over.

Word.

ermm.... i guess i would go with the 4.0 if it was ALL ELSE EQUAL (like identical twins with the exact same ECs, hobbies, and personality). But that 0.1 GPA difference means very little if compared to other factors... honestly I'd go with the guy I liked better at that point.

Money Never Sleeps? More like Money Never SUCKS amirite?!?!?!?

That's interesting because my friend and I were arguing about the difference in penises. He said that if two candidates were pretty much the same except one had a 3.9" penis and the other had a 4.0" penis, the 4.0" would always get the girl over the 3.9" even if the 3.9" was more interesting and appealing to the girl. I completely disagreed - I think that at that level, the difference in penis is negligible and fit takes over.

You seem to be awfully obsessed with penises. Hardly any post recently without a reference to them. What are you trying to tell us MBP?

I'd go for a 3.2 with sports involvement over a 4.0 math machine. Nobody wants a finance robot. We're looking for well-rounded applicants.

your friend is an idiot.. I have seen an SA in a group in my office get hired for FT with a 3.0 and sports over another SA who had a 4.0 and a triple major.

Is the difference in pen--err---GPA really .1? Because if one candidate was "more interesting and appealing to the interviewer" this seems like a stupid question.

I was arguing with my friend the other day that the color red is soo much better than blue because it is pleasing to me but they said blue is better b/c it brings out their eyes...can you reinforce that he's retarded b/c he doesn't agree about something mundane and fucking retarded???

If the glove don't fit, you must acquit!

I don't accept sacrifices and I don't make them. ... If ever the pleasure of one has to be bought by the pain of the other, there better be no trade at all. A trade by which one gains and the other loses is a fraud.

ahMake new friends..

completely agree. Your friend is ot worth having...if something so retarded caused you to have an arguement

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.
