BAML FICC vs. MS IED
This is for SA position. I had a hard time choosing but going BAML eventually.
Which one would’ve been a better choice?

FICC > EQ. FICC more OTC and less automated
Thanks! Seems like FX is also pretty automated but I guess it's still more lucrative than Cash/D1 equities?
I think you gotta think of it this way. There's a way higher probability that you will be placed onto a viable desk if you did FICC than if you did equities. Many products in FICC can lead to buy-side exits and/or a long career in sell-side trading while equity products less so unless you are really quant. Also Baml is better than MS in S&T generally.
