Bank-Sponsored Trading Games - Relevancy?

How relevant are these?

JP Morgan had a Fantasy Futures trading game, Morgan Stanley also had a trading game. I'm wondering if placing well on these (top 10 for a couple of weeks in the nation or something) would look good on a resume/cover letter.

Obviously people win these by taking absurd amounts of risk and getting lucky, but it still shows an interest, right? And if you placed in the top 10 or so for a time that might show at least some abilities to trade?

I'd assume strong performance on one of these trading games is probably more valued than Personal account trading...correct me if wrong, as usual. i'm obviously a junior applying for SA positions lol.

Is it really true that personal trading experience can actually hurt you since they like to mold their new hires ? I feel that the stock market knowledge and experience trading in your account could still be very helpful. Any thoughts on this are welcomed. Thanks.
