How does Barclays stack up against other banks in S&T? Would it be significantly better to try for another bank or is Barclays still a strong player? Thanks for the help.
Bump. Specifically between equities and FICC, how good is Barclays?
S&T is dominated by the bulge bracket banks, but some banks are better in certain products than others.
Which products is Barclays good at? I know it's good at credit but what else?

Hey everyone first time poster here and longtime lurker.
I would like to know what desks would you consider to be the strongest at Barclays Capital S&T. I know that their FICC division is quite strong but I would like to know what desks in particular standout. Also,what are your guys thoughts on Barclays' Equities division now that they have acquired Lehman?

Does anybody know the strengths of Barclays S&T? What desks are hot right now and is equity or fixed income more prestigious at this firm. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Barclays is a debt house. There is no equity trading except derivatives. There is also no M&A.
Big in DCM, commodities, FX structured products.
