Best fixed income desk ?

I have a 2027 Summer internship offer in Fixed income at a BB. Best desks to work on for someone like me?

  • I like digging into data to come up with insights/trades, Proficient with python. STEM degree. have experience doing things like building equity factor models and finding alphas as little projects in my own time (ideally id be doing some kind of systematic or semi systematic risk taking role but if I don't land anything else then BB it is).
  •  But I do also like talking to people, not opposed to interacting with salespeople/clients, social person

Best fixed income desks for this? I really liked the idea of working on the central risk book equities team (and could v well do it if I land some other bank), seemed like a place that suited me but I dont beleive this is as much a thing in FI. Would appreciate any colour/advice
