BofA HireVue for S&T Summers

**UPDATE**
Just got the HireVue about 16 hours after applying. It is weird how they do not send those the same way to everyone who passes the first screening. I guess there are some things we will never understand, unless if we work for HR (Hell)

Hey, so I appled to the S&T summers at Bank of America London yesterday (a few hours after they came out), then my friend applied (we have very similar resumes and experience), and he got the HireVue instantly.
Me, I still have not received it. I remember receiving it instantly last year.

Is there any possible reason for that? Have I been dinged right away?

Personally only reasons I could see to that are:

- They ask us to put a maximum of two work experiences and I put three because I did not see that and they allow you to “add another experience”. Friend put two only. But they wouldn’t filter people out based on that, would they?

- Diversity: while I put “I prefer not to say” on various metrics, my friend filled everything with answers.

- I applied from work (so with a VPN on), friend did not

I applied from work yesterday (no VPN), only putting one work experience, and I completed the diversity stuff honestly, I got the hirevure immediately.

Good to know, thanks! Let’s see if others have varying experiences. My guess is I fucked up with the work experience. But sometimes they do send the HireVue later and you don’t know why.

  • To start, we would like to learn more about you. Can you tell me about yourself and why you are interested in this program and or business?

  • What is one major current event happening in the world right now, and how might it impact the markets and the role you've applied for?
  • Which one of your key accomplishments best illustrates your personal initiative and willingness to push beyond what is required?

wouldnt worry too much about how long you wait for hirevue, only really if it goes past a week. Did the same thing for BNP where i applied first day, and didnt receive an email back for a while, while some people had gotten it immediately

I Applied on the day.

also put 3 experiences.

I have got one spring internship in Global markets and one in investment banking.

and didn't get any notifications for 2 days until I receive a rejection without even receiving a hi revue.

Yes. Interested if BofA in previous years kept sending those messages while interviewing?
