Everyone knows the bulge bracket firms generates revenue from sales and trading.
Everyone also knows that they generate revenue from investment banking (i.e. corporate finance).

There are investment banking boutique/MM firms.

Are there any sales and trading boutique/MM firms, and if so, can you list a few?

also interesting in finding out more about a prop trading opportunities...

what are their recruiting schedules like?

any others to look into?

ive looked into these firms as well and am wondering if anyone can give anymore insight into their hours, compensation, and exit opportunities to top b-schools or hedge funds?

no matter what anyone says about these places, there are a few reputable shops that give great exit opps and have awesome hours. comp is completely performance based which is great if you are good at trading, no politics plus you learn how to be a PM as you go on. look into trillium and first new york, some of the few reputable shops in the nyc area.

disclaimer: this is all hearsay but here goes...

SIG pays better once u stop being in the apprentice role and become a "market maker" - not that philly is that expensive. they have a noncompete in place and apparently take it rather seriously. SIG started their recruiting in August, came thru schools in Oct/Nov

Tradelink is still collecting resumes this January. noncompete is pretty reasonable.

Boss - I think people start as clerks - i think they are only collecting resumes for overnite clerk opportunities - heard focused on euro markets.

GroupOne more open to non-quantitative backgrounds than wolverine.
