Depends on why desk/product you’re looking to break into.

Also depends on whether you’re at a target or not. I know a lot of people breaking in with business/finance degrees but most of them were from targets and mostly cash trading.

If you’re looking into non-linesr products, rates, vol or exotics you’ll need STEM. You’re also expected to have some programming experience.
