Breaking Into S&T Program FT Without S&T SA, or Macro HF More Long-term
Hi everyone,
I recently became very interested in trading, especially in more macro-oriented asset classes like FX and commodities, and was wondering what the best path forward for me would be to break into an S&T analyst program without an S&T SA, as I am currently a Junior so I know that the chances of me securing an S&T internship by now are very low and my internship for this summer is in PE, so somewhat unrelated. In addition, if anyone has any knowledge of or experience in breaking into Macro HFs I would appreciate any advice on the path forward for that as well. For further context, I am at a T25 majoring in econ and data science.
Thanks in advance for the advice.

Consider extending your graduation year. You can try applying for grad SnT roles but the chances are just very low.
