Career Ops
I recently accepted a full-time offer at a broker dealer. I will be on the sales team, and love the firm love the people had a great summer experience. The firm is well established, but I look at my peers who are entering IB or the buy-side, and have so much more opportunities both money and career wise. I know I could be happy here, but at the same time I think I would be happy both in IB or the buy-side. I was wondering if anyone who faced a similar decision had any advice on why they did what they did with their future, and whether the future in sell side S&T had as much money making opportunities as in the past, or if this will pigeonhole me into the sellside forever.

Ok... This is definitely not true... Just cause you work at the buy side doesn't mean hours are less lol. I worked longer hours at the buy side than I did on the sell side.
