CFA for Sales and Trading

I am a recent grad with a mid GPA around 3.1 and have recently started a wealth management role at one of the big banks in Toronto. I really want to get into sales and trading, ideally on the sales side and I have been networking like crazy. I was just wondering if getting my my full CFA or even a couple of levels done would help me break in and get a spot on a desk, at any of the big 6 or larger boutiques in Toronto. Any other advice on how to do so is appreciated. Thanks.
