CFA vs CMT (Breaking out of Ops)

I currently work in operations (2 years) and looking to break out of operations and move into more of a front office role. I love trading and the market as a whole and would love to find a trading position, however, it’s very difficult to find one. I recently passed the SIE exam and wanted to know if anyone has any advise if I should study for the CFA or the CMT?
