CFA® or Financial Math Masters
Currently, I'm a trader for a bulge bracket. What's the next best step to advance my career: CFA® or getting a Master's in Financial Math/Engineering?

what's your career goal?
seriously, how do you expect us to answer this question without knowing what you want to advance to?
Currently, I am on track of getting both, CFA and Master's in Financial Mathematics. To answer your question, it depends. Both are decent credentials to have. It depends on what you are trading right now. It depends on what you are trying to do next, staying in trading, or move to buyside. What was your original background in college? Without an understanding of where you are coming from, and where you are trying to reach, no one can really answer your question.
More details please.
CFA is just a rubberstamp for robots, a Masters might actually stretch you intellectually. Either way Id say neither unless you are looking to switch to another career.
