CH - Cargill First Interview
Hi all,
I have a 30-minute video screening coming up with Cargill's World Trading Group in Geneva for the STSA Trainee position — 18-month rotational program across Contract Execution, Middle Office, Risk Management, Mid-East Marketing Desk, Analytics and commercial trading desks.
I've prepared on physical trading concepts (basis, hedging, origination, forward curve, WASDE) and current grains/oilseeds market dynamics.
A few questions for anyone who has been through this process:
- How technical is the first screening — mostly motivational/behavioural or do they test market knowledge?
- Any specific questions that came up?
- How much emphasis on grains/oilseeds specifically vs general commodity knowledge?
- Any advice from people who went through STSA or similar Cargill programs?
