Citi Global Markets
Hi everyone, is it possible if someone can provide me with a brief overview of Citi's Global Markets division, what they do, and what kind of roles one can take on and groups to belong to within the division? I tried researching this information online and searching through the forum but couldn't find much information outside of vague descriptions.

Citi Global Markets is primarily Sales & Trading, but recently they also put their Capital Markets division under Global Markets. I agree that the descriptions on their website are really vague.
Citi and BoA have the absolute worst websites for their IBD...you wouldn't realize they even had an IBD unless you were looking for it. I guess it's b/c they are first and foremost commercial banks.
Citi IBD is within Citi Global Markets.
