Credit derivatives trader -> macro HF

Hi everyone,I recently just finished my internship and received a return offer on the macro credit trading desk; I chose this desk over a more traditional macro desk due to the people/culture of the group. The desk trades CDX, credit etfs, total return swaps and options on etfs and cdxMy longterm goal is to move out of market making into a more pure risk taking seat at a MM or macro oriented HF. How are traders of these products looked upon for buyside PM opportunities? What are some steps that I could take to make myself more marketable to HFs? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
