Criteria for Experienced Traders

For experienced traders that have run their own books for a few years, when switching jobs to another sell side firm or into the buyside, what criteria are they measured by? Do their resumes include career PnL figures or just a list of projects they've worked on?

I hear of a lot of traders blowing up and losing a lot of money. Then, they switch over to another sell side/buy side firm.

ambition56So if you've had experience running your own book on the sell side or buy side, these are the stats that you would be judged on (either by your current firm or other potential employers)? It seems like you're playing a sport and you're getting recruited based on your batting average/ field goal percentage/ pass completion %

Exactly
