Deutsche Bank vs Barclays vs BAML S&T Internship
I have internship offers from all 3 of these firms in NYC...I'm most interested in equities sales (I think...hard to tell as a college junior). Would love to hear any insight into the culture and prestige of these banks and feedback about the internship programs (including rehire rate, etc)
Spent close to 10 years at DB-it is a fantastic place with a diverse talented group of people. I wonder about Barclays commitment to the equity business and BOA ML has its' own issues- there have been rumors that boa will be forced to sell the investment bank.
DB is best positioned over the next 3-4 years. Barclays also strong.
can't go wrong with db -- primarily a trading shop and historically strong. try to rotate through their fx derivs desk if possible, best on the street
BarCap is an incredibly strong S&T franchise ... top 3 player in FICC, strong in equities as well (top 5 last I heard). I'm having trouble finding a newer dataset, but this is from 4Q09: http://www.zerohedge.com/sites/default/files/images/user5/imageroot/vol…
I feel I recognize another cornellian. GO BIG RED
BarCap better culture and strong equity research, this will help you in sales
