Do I have to disclose my parents' investment accounts?
My dad will be investing in a brokerage account for his retirement for the first time. He got my help in setting up the account and is asking me for etfs recommendations for buy and hold. I'm wondering because I am recommending this information, and can log in to his account because I set it up, do I have to disclose this to my compliance department?
The account is solely in his name, but what he will buy will be largely influenced by my recommendations.
aperotif, sorry about the lack of response. Maybe one of these topics will help:
More suggestions...
Hope that helps.
Damn bro prepared to be hit up with a case
I would just check with compliance the circumstances under which relatives' accounts need to be disclosed and remove any uncertainty
